The paralympics<3
Did you know? That there is 20 sports in the paralympics and they also have the same rule as the olympics games but they change the way the game is played .
The paralympics games will take place on august the 29 to september the 9th in 11 days.
Some people in the paralympics are blind some a deaf and some are on wheelchairs. In the paralympics there have the same sports as the olympics but the rules are changed. It is sad for the blind people because they can't see and they don't where to go thats sad.
The london paralympics starts on August the 29. there are over 4200 athletes and every athletes have to be involved in 1 of the sports. I like the paralympics and I can't wait for another four years.
On friday the seventeenth of August Point England school had their cross country. It was cold in the morning but then it started to get hot in the afternoon. When it was lunchtime we went to line up by room 18 to get ready to go to the reserve .When we got there Mr Brut and Miss Garden walked us to the reserve.
When mr burt used the clapper and said go I rain fast and I was coming first. Then this girl went past me and then we started have a tie. It was muddy and wet and yucky the mud smelt like poo. I slipped in the muddy puddle, we did not know where to go.
I wasn’t that happy because I came second out of the nine year old girlsbut at least I wasn't the last person. Then I saw my friends at the finish line and they were tired just like me. I like cross country some times.
When Valerie Adams did shot put against Nadzeya. Nadzeya threw the shot put further then Valerie Adams. Valerie was not happy that she got a silver . But then when they had a drug test Nadzeya was found using steroids to win the shot put competition.
Nadzeya was found guilty but she was not telling the truth. Fans of Nadzeya still thought that she was a winner in their eyes. When they were going to give the gold medal to Valerie, the gold medal was hidden. People are saying that Nadzeya hid the gold medal.
Did you know that Andy Warhol was born in 1928 and nearly died because
people tried to kill him 3 times, he was so lucky. Andy Warhol was a famous american, his art is called pop art . He was famous because the way he did his art was different to how other artist did their art.
Andy Warhol takes pictures of celebrities and screen prints their faces with opposite colours on it .He used bold lines so they can stand out and so they can look really real.
He is famous for being involved in pop art movement and he uses bright colors as well. Andy warhol love cats and he drawed one before on his art paper and he also made a movie. When he was young he loved to do lots of pretty kind of food,shouse and famous people like marilyn monroe and mohamed ali.
Andy Warhol was a good man his style of art is reversing the coulurs it so awesome.I wish I could do that it is so cool .Overall I like learning about andy Warhol.because he is a very cool artist.

The thing that I think I so well is that I have been finishing my work properly and doing it the right way
I think the thing that I did not do so well in reading is that I instead of finishing my work I talk to the people sitting next to me
next term I am going to improve me reading by not talking to my friend when I have to do my work

Guess what happened on wednesday the 13th of june? Room 14 and 17 had an awesome trip to Youthtown.The bus was very noisy because there were people singing very loud.
Before we went to the trip our class had to go to the school hall so we can get into our groups. I was in Miss Ouano’s group there were some other teams like Raves mum’s group and Alazae’s dad and some other helpers from room 17.We had to wait for the bus to arrive, we looked at the bus coming towards us we could not wait. When the bus stop and opened I could not wait to get inside the bus. Finally we went inside the bus it was so hot that I had to take my jumper off.
Then we got there we had to go to this room to hear the instructions. Miss Garden said that room 17 were going swimming first so room 14 had to go to the clay room first .When we got in the clay room we had to site on the chair in our groups.We watched Hannah roll out the clay.The clay was soft and squishy the first thing we did is that we made a square with carbide.
My square wasn't that cool so I had to fix it up then it got so cool and amazing that I could not believe my eye’s. We rolled out a long line and used the bamboo sticks to draw little lines on it.Than it was time to put weight clay so it can stick I made a cool design and in. The design I made a little harte it was awesome.
Finally it was time to have free time in the pool.Over all I had a very a very good time at Youth town I hope if you have a trip too.
Guess what happened on Wednesday? it was time to see the P.E.P.A. that stands for Point England Performing Arts.
I was so shy when it was lunch time because it was time to perform. Before we had to go on the stage we had to put makeup on and were some costumes. Some of the costumes were too big so they had to find some small ones. We had our heir in a bun.
We were second and at performing so thats why I was so shy. I got even shy when I got on the stage I got on the stage and started dancing it was not scary at all.
