The last days of school.....

At school things are changing a lot because kids and teachers are moving things in there class and shifting it to different classes . At our school we have 3 new class so that when new kids came to our school next year they have a class room. All the kids are working really hard to move all those things.

Some kids are play games with there class mates so that they can enjoy

the last few days with there class and friends. because it going to be a long time tell they see each other. and they might not be in the same class next year.

My Netbook Reflection 2013

getting to learn on netbooks is so cool because we get to use site such as Google Drive,g- mail,year six site,maths whizz,xtramath and lots more. I think that using netbooks has really helped me in math because Mr Somerville has shown me lots of ways to solve math problems on-line. Reading and writing is awesome because we get to write on Google drive.next year I am going to try to improve in my maths.

Year six camp

The Strange Whisper

 One rainy night a boy named John woke up in the middle of the night and walked downstairs into the kitchen to get some milk out of the fridge. But the milk was finished so he put his raincoat on and his gumboots and walked in the muddy grass to the shed to milk the cows. He thought that the cows would be asleep so his mother wouldn't find out that he was out at night all by himself because he was only 6 years old .

As John need two more steep until he was in the shed he heard a Whisper so he talk a couple of steps back and listened. The strange thing was that nobody was there but the cows, could the cows be whispering to each other nahh John said to himself  so he looked through the window, and yes the cows were talking to each other.

One cow looked out the window it had a red eye with a little shine in it. When the red eye looked at John he fell of the bucket and heard the cow say moo. So little john ran because he was so so afraid. he was running so fast it was about 5 seconds when he was in his bedroom and covered himself with his blanket. 20 minutes later he fell a sleep.

In the morning when his mum Sally was making breakfast he jumped out of his bed and said mum mum the cows can talk, no sweetie pie said his mother the cows can’t talk you might of had a jrem that they can talk, but mum I heard a whisper and no one was there no John you just had a bad jrem repealed his mother.

In the afternoon when John was getting some veggies. He saw some cows.some of the cows still had red eyes he looked at the cows red eyes 1 second later it changed back to brown. One seconde seem very short but for John it seemed like a lot.

The very next night he heard the same moo as before so he walked to the shed. To be continued...

Suck On a Island

Once upon a time there was a family of five who have been saving money for the past few years to go to the united states of america. They had a really helpful neighbor named Mr sam. This family has been saving money for over 2 years. In this family they have 2 girls named Anna and Brooklyn and one boy named Jonathan and Mr and Mrs Smith. Everybody in this family was a very good swimmer even Mr and Mrs Smith.

Mr sam told the Smith family that he wasn't going to the U.S.A. One hot day as Anna was walking on the beach she found 50 dollars laying on the sand so she picked it up and talk it to her parents. They were so lucky she found because they needed 50 dollars so they can have enf money to go to the U.S.A.The next day they all stated to pack for the trip America .

  2 weeks later they went to the airport. Everyone in there family was so excited. They had to wait for one or two hours before their plan came. When the plan came they were so excited. But before they got in the plan they had to put their bags in first. They slowly walked in Wow said Brooklyn it is amazing said Jonathan while Mr and Mrs Smith just smiled.

Put your seatbelts on everybody get ready for take of. Jonathan was looking out the window they were getting higher and higher until they were as high as the clouds. It talk about 7 hours when they were half way there.

BOOM BOOM! what is that noise said Brooklyn what noise and replaced shhh Brooklyn said again We're Going down. People started panicking and screaming.

They fell into the water likely everybody in there family knew how to swim they swim to the closest Island and started their new life there they were so happy. But then Mrs Smith released something  there next door neighbour

Mr Sam was in the plan and he said that he wasn't coming. But he was there and he keep going into the pilots room. So Mr Sam masted of done something to the pilot.

The Smith family didn't find out what Mr Sam did to the Pilot but they lived happily ever after on a very strange island. but they were sad because  100sof people died.

Living On A farm For 20 Years

Once upon a time there was a family who lived on a farm. This family was very poor but what they didn't know was that they were one of the luckiest family in the world. In this family they had one boy named Benson and one girl named Elizabeth and Mr and Mrs Jones.

One day when Benson went to get some eggs from the chicken house. He saw that all the chickens were gone all he could see was some feathers in a line so he followed them sadly he got lost and he couldn't find his way back home. As Elizabeth was reading the magazine she realized that his brother was missing, so she told her mother and father.

They spent 20 years looking for him by the time they found him he was 32 years old. Imagine that he was lost for 20 years. and Elizabeth was 28 years old. So Benson got lost at the age of 15. As he was lost Mr and Mrs Jones had to do all the work in the farm.To be counted...

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Isabella. She loved to go shopping at the mall with her best friends Emma,Anna and Lucy. Isabella also liked to read books.

One day after school she decided to go to the mall with her friends. But she had to ask her mum Kelly,but her mum didn't trust her friends so she said no. So Isabella run to her room crying then her cell phone started to ring it was her friends telling her to go to the mall i'm not aloud she said but her friends said just came. So Isabella puted some pillows under her balkent a sneaked out the window.

She walked to the mall all by herself. As she was walking she heard this strange sound on top of her so she looked up and saw a weird looking spaceship coming towards her.So she hid behind a big tree. As the space ship hit the ground she saw tiny little green people walking thru the door they were aliens trying to take over the universe. She tried to call her friends and tell them the news but her phone was flat.

She tried so hard to save earth but the aliens had too much technology. As the anilines were taking over the world isabelle thought,she wanted to talk to the alans leader. So Isabella and the alien queen had a little talk and the aliens left earth to go to mars. But what everyone else didn’t know was Isabelle saved the world  just by telling the queen to go to a different planet in the solar system.

Goldilocks and the 3 bears

Once upon a time there was a family of bears, in that family there is a mother bear,father bear and a baby bear. One day mother bear made some pudding but the pudding was way too hot so they decided to go  to beavers house to see the new born baby.As they left a little girl named goldilocks saw baby bears cottage what a ugly cottage the bears have but she couldn't mind have a little peek.So she walked over to the cottage.She slowly opened the door in she went and ate up all there pudding,broke baby bears chari and fell asleep on baby bears bed.Then the 3 bears came back they saw that someone has ate up there pudding and saw that some had broke baby bears chair. But in the end baby bear and goldilocks became best friends.

The morale of the story is to forgive people for what they do and to be a good friend.It is also to not enter other peoples homes when there not there.To respect other peoples stuff and property.

This story relates to my life because it tells me to not touch other peoples stuff.It also tells me not to loge into other peoples netbook when there not there.

Corss Country Fun Run

During a hot sunny day Point england school had a cross country fun run.We had our cross country fun run on Thursday the 22nd of August.The cool thing about the fun run is that if you came 1st 2nd or 3rd you get to go to the inter zone to compete other schools.

The first kids to have there race the five year old boys “On your marks, get set, GO” said Mr Burt as the boys ran. After a while it was time for the 10 year old boys I saw them all running as fast as their legs  could go.”Now its time for the 10 year old girls” I hear Mr Burt say. So all the ten year old girls walk up to the line.

When we got to the line my hands started to shake and my heart was beating really fast “On your marks, get set, GO” said Mr Burt as we all run when I was coming 3rd. But then I went past this girl named Iron I couldn't go past Elizabeth she was too fast.But in the end I ended up coming 2nd. As I went past the finish line I heard people cheering,I was so proud of myself.  

The moral of this true story

is to never give and keep trying

even if you come last People will

still be proud of you for completing the race.  

The ugly duckling

Once upon a time on a old farm they lived a family of ducklings. In that family there was a mother duck and her seven baby eggs.

One afternoon when mother duck was sitting on a clutch of eggs.  The eggs started to slowly hatch one after another, after all the eggs had hatched she noticed one more egg in the nest. That last egg looked different to all the other eggs it was much bigger and had a darker grey colour. After a while the other egg hatched the duckling looked very different to his brothers and his mother instead of having yellow feathers he had grey feathers.

As he grew the more he got angry at his brothers for bullying him because he was different. So one day he decided to run away to look for his real family. Along the way he saw a group of ducks and asked if  they were his family but they just mocked him so he walked away. As he was walking a old lady picked him up and talk him to her farm. The old lady was hoping it was a female so it could lay eggs but it didn't. So the old lady stuffed him with food so she can eat him. But the ugly duckling run away.

The poor ugly duckling fell asleep in the way and a farmer found him.The farmer talk the duck too his kids so that they could look after him.A few years later the farmer decided to let him go. As soon as the poor duckling was out the door he started walking on his own.     

When he was walking he saw a pond so he went to drink some water and he saw a reflection of himself in the water and he had never looked so beautiful. As he kept walking he saw  a group of ducks and they all looked a bit similar him and to each other. The duck wondered could this be my real family and it was. So the ugly duckling found what he was looking for and realised that he was a swan and lived happily ever after.

Matariki

What is Matariki ? well Matariki is a maori tradition that they do every year from a late may to the beginning of june. Matariki is made out of 500 star but out of 500 stars we can only see seven .The only way to see all the 500 stars is too use a telescope.

The ancestors of maori used matariki ( they also used different star and nature sigh )navigating the pacific oceans of aotearoa new zealand . In the middle of  winter people work together to look for the hidden stars. But I believe that someday a bunch of people might find them.

Matariki is also known as the seven sisters appearance in maori new year.Anyways I wonder what are the names of the seven sisters Witi Waiti,Tupu-a-nuku,Tupu-a-rangi,Waipuna-a-rangi,Ururangi,Matariki.

Matariki is a maori name for the group of stars,The stars are also known as pleiades. Did you know that you can see the matariki stars all around the world.

The Girl Who Couldn't Wait For Her Birthday

once upon a time there was a little girl named sally she was so excited because her birthday was coming up. She couldn't wait so she told all the kid at her school.When she finished telling everyone she told her best friend Emma.So they met every day after school making cards and decorations.

As the days went by the more she got excited.One day all the parents and the kids who she invited to the party went to sally’s house for a meting.As they where having a meting Sally and Emma where at the movies with there aunties. The kids and the parents had an idea,so they taxed Emma and Sally’s aunties and rote the plan in text.

The next morning it was sally’s birthday she was so happy.That she woke up early and said (muum) yes Sally her mother replied it is a very special day today isn't it yes it is said her mother,Do you know what day it is said Sally,yes her mum replied it is Monday, ooh said Sally with a very depressed face.So she got ready for school. when she was eating breakfast she whispered quietly to herself maybe all the kid’s at my school remembered my birthday.

When she got to school no one said happy birthday to her.And in classes her best friend was away.So she had no one to play with she just sat there looking at all the other kids play.Whale a tier was dripping down her face slowly.At the end of the day she noticed that every body has left but what she dint know was that every one was going to her house.

When she got home she went into her room and started to cry.Sally Sally she heard her mum calling her to came to eat a little after school snack (coming mum she said I’ll be there in a minute).so she whipped her terse and run down stares mum where are you she said I'm in the living room she said.So sally went in the living room.

Surprise everybody jumped out of there hiding spots.She was so happy she so her best friend Emma and she so that she was sick with chicken pops. Sally was so glad to see Emma that she gave her one of her birthday present. And they spent the hole day having a good time celebrating Sally’s birthday.    

   

Mr Marks long Greenery

Once a long long time ago they was a teacher named Mr Marks. School was finished and it was time for the holidays.So he decided to go out to antarctica to investigate.

He flew in helicopter and it talk about 12 hours to get there.When he got there the first thing he did was sit up his tent. It talk a long time for Mr Maks to set up his camp site.When he finished he went for a little walk he didn't take long.

The next day he decided to go for a swim he had a dry suit instead of a wet suit.He jumped in the water and (splash) the water went loudy.He swam all around then he saw a killer whale so he swam as fast like dolfan.and the killer whale didn't get him.

So he diseted to never ever go to antarcta aging.So he whent backe to new zealand and never whent backe.So for his holiday next year he diseted to go to the USA.

The Little pink Girl

once upon a time on a planet called Princess land they live a little girl whose name was Emily she was 4 years old. Emily loved the color pink. Mostly everything she had was pink her room was pink with a pink carpet and a white and pink bed. Her toys were all pink even her toy box was pink her close was pink too,her shorts,pants,dresses,unberaler,gumboots and even her shoes.  

After one year it was her birthday she liked all her birthday present. But her mum had one more surprise for her the surprise was that she was going to start school on Monday,she was so excited to go school tomorrow.So the next morning she woke up eraly and got ready,than walked to school with her mum.When she walked in the class room lots of kids where looking at her,strat after she walked in the techer said (ok class we have a new student in our clase today her name is Emily) all the students in room 2 said welcome Emily.So she sat down with the classe.At lunch time  she was paling at the prak.She didn't really no were every thing was.after school the bell rang she whent out then she rimeberd that she left her bag in the clase so she went back in the caless room she got her bag and when she whent to dore it was looked she called out help but they was only one techer and she helped her than she whent home and told her mum the story the end.

Swimming Pools

Geas what we did on Sunday we went to the swimming pools cause we got so hot. wen we were getting ready my couscous Lisa came over she wanted to go with us but she didn't have her togs,so she used my old togs that were kind of to small for me they looked kind-of big on her but she didn't not mind I mean its beater than nothing. We spent the whole day at the pools. At first I went in the big pool and the water was cold but then I got use to it.

I wonder what we are learning about at school I think that we might be learning about super heroes. I think that because hero like helping people all around the world.Superheroes help peoples around all ages that why I think the were learning about super heroes.  

My Suterday Weekend

Geaswhat I did on Saturday I went to my mom's Friend's wedding and the cool thing about that is that the wedding was in Hamilton.We woke up early in the morning getting ready to go,I was the first one to get ready so well I was waiting I went in the living room and went on the computer and started to do my math whizz I didn't do it for long.

When everybody was ready we all went in the car. Hamilton is far away from Auckland. Did you know that it takes two hours to get from Auckland to Hamilton.There were so much people how I knew.I liked playing outside.The wedding was so cool.      

Fia Fia Night

Did you like the Fia Fia night ? well I did. My favorite dance was the barkerville.The thing that I liked about the Barkerville was the cool beats they were making I also enjoyed how they broke the car but it could still work that was awesome.

When it was our turn I heard someone say now it is time for one of the senior hip hop dances Our group went on the stage I looked at the crowd and there were like 5,000 peoples.When the music started I was so confident I didn't feel nervous at all.The last group to go on the stage was the cook island. Fia Fia was great.

Once upon a time in a land far away they lived a little girl whose name was Bella.She wanted everything and everything she wanted she got.

One day she went to school as normal and all of her friends had new

shoes they all looked the same but they were different colours. When school was finish she run home and said (MUM) could I have some new shoes why not her mother said. So in the week ends they went to the shop to buy some new shoes she peeked the colour because that's her favourites colour the morning she wired her new she to school and she was so happy. Her friends said (WHAT THE )nah just joking those shoes are cool.

Fia Fia

What's Your Fia Fia group ? well my Fia Fia group is senior hip hop.The only reason I picked hip hop is because I like dancing.We have been practising

our dance for a few weeks and so far we have done a lot. The good thing is that our dance is look awesome.I can't wait for the Fia Fia.

The thing that i'm look forward too is seeing all of the other people performance. Fia Fia is going to be great. For our dance we are doing a remix and it sounds so cool.Mrs Erasmus and Mrs Brakes very good tourers Thanks to our tourers for making up all of the cool moves and songs.

Main Characters: Esela is the fastest eight year old in the hole school,Solomon is the how always play tricks on peoples.

Setting: sports day at school and it was sunny.

Problem: maybe Solomon was tricking him to run with those brand new sport shoes he said that they will make him run extra faster but then he remember all the other tricks that solomon had done on him.

Action:

He had to decided to wear the sports shoes or not but he did not were them.

Orientation:

He won the raise without the sports shoes.

Outcome: in the end he came first out of the eight year olds and so his sports shoes in his bag.
